No member nor group of members of this Unit shall make a public appearance or visitation as representing the Unit or Shrine either in or out of regalia or fez without one of the following:

    #. Formal :doc:`requests` and :doc:`approval` from the membership at a regular meeting.
    #. Express approval from the director (see :doc:`discretionary`).
    #. Express written consent of the current Shrine potentate.
