9.3. Discretionary Outings

In a case where an outing request may not be brought to a regular meeting for review and approval the director may approve this “discretionary outing” without input from the membership.

The director shall appoint a Outing Chairman for all discretionary outings.

Participation in discretionary outings is optional and attendance does not count towards awards and due and timely notice is often not possible.

The secretary shall provide the membership with event details as soon as possible.
